Associate Creative Director – Product

Remote (PST hours preferred, not required) / Contract (40 hours/week, 6+ months)

The role

Big ideas? We’ve got a big role for you! We are looking for a smart, strategic ACD to support one of our largest consumer tech clients! You’ll join the studio team that acts as the creative cornerstone that guides work across product development, product experience, and software product marketing.

The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running to lead and produce multimedia creative deliverables, and push forward concepts for future marketing and in-product experiences. You’ll need to bring an uncommon aesthetic quality along with a solid sense of story, design, customer journeys and messaging hierarchy.

This multimedia ACD will work directly with software product owners, designers, marketing managers, copywriters and project managers to ensure outputs adhere to the company’s brand and overall vision, moving ideas from insight to execution across software and marketing experiences. You’ll understand the scope and deliverables of modern, integrated marketing campaigns and modern digital experiences, especially mobile and desktop applications.

What you’ll do

  • Provide innovative execution of omni-channel marketing needs across paid brand experiences
  • Create assets for a wide range of customer touch points (web, video, ad products, app (desktop and mobile), and more
  • Collaborate on art direction for photo, video, digital marketing, and digital experiences
  • Inspire the team with strategy, ecosystem thinking, style choices, and cultural insight
  • Plan and oversee the development of Ad messaging strategy
  • Head brand campaigns, including submitting ideas for projects and overseeing the development of all creative content
  • Supervise all work completed by the department
  • Work with executives and other creative leaders to set project deadlines and experience goals
  • Present project information, including deadlines and budgets, to executives and clients
  • Recruit and train new team members

About you

  • 8+ years of experience in product and brand marketing, especially digital product and/or SaaS
  • A kickass portfolio with omni-channel growth marketing experience with relevant brands and agencies
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Ability to read and request performance data, along with a grasp of UX/UI knowledge
  • Ability to scope projects, set goals, and co-manage team members
  • Ability to oversee projects, timelines, and budgets across the creative department
  • Strong knowledge of the digital landscape, technologies, and digital creativity products
  • Top-notch communication skills in all mediums, with the confidence and empathy to communicate with leadership, your team, and outside vendors with ease
  • A flexible approach and willingness to adapt your ideas with input from other departments
  • Ability to learn quickly, take direction, collaborate and have fun
  • You have an appreciation for photography and video as an art form and craft
