The project

We are looking for a talented conceptual copywriter to join our team in creating and adapting a variety of work. This includes but isn’t limited to digital asset creation, storyboards, social media campaigns, POS, e-commerce, email, and websites.

You will need to combine a deep understanding of trends with a varied skillset that will include conceptual thinking, copywriting, research, script writing, understanding of social and E-commerce platforms, their ways of working and content project planning.

You’ll need to be an expert storyteller, working alongside your fellow creatives in a fun, fast-paced environment to find interesting and engaging ways of dramatizing subject matter.

What you’ll do

  • Develop the voice, messaging and tone for a new streaming platform dedicated to the first responder community
  • Work with creative director to create copy that is within brand guidelines while mastering a variety of brand voices
  • Take lead on implementing copy across various mediums (CRM Emails, Series Descriptions, Newsletters)
  • Define messaging around new creative campaigns
  • Work with video team to create compelling CTA for video copy
  • Create and adapt or re-purpose content for multi-use campaigns while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Be responsible for writing and ideation of creative that brings readership and enhances brand voice
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and pivot as necessary

What were looking for

  • 4+ years writing in an advertising agency or design firm
  • Diploma or related degree in Journalism or Copywriting
  • Experience working in a fast moving in-house agency
  • Extremely comfortable with quickly shifting/changing priorities
  • Experience in Retail Marketing Campaigns, CRM Loyalty programs, UX, social, e-commerce and Blog editing
  • Microsoft Office, SharePoint experience
  • Prior experience managing cross-functional projects and possess well developed project management skills as you will be working with multiple briefs at a time
  • Able to use data and insight to inform creative
  • Able to create new content from existing
  • Excellent teamwork and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to quality check your own work, with a proactive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Take ownership and responsibility
  • Team player and a self-starter
