Marketing Copywriter

Remote / Contract (20-40 hours/week, 6+ months)

The role

We are looking for a Copywriter to join the growing creative department within a top-tier consumer electronics brand (named one of Fortune’s Best Places to Work in 2021!). In this role, you’ll create omnichannel marketing campaigns that will live across digital, social, interactive, and print channels. You will support concepting and execution across the marketing team and be able to give and receive direction as well as constructive feedback. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, possess outstanding multi-tasking skills, and consistently perform in a fast-paced, exciting creative environment. The team is open to working with the right candidate on a part-time or full-time basis, so choose your own adventure!

What you’ll do

  • Partner with the design +marketing team to understand marketing objectives and identify creative (image+messaging) strategies for each channel. 
  • Craft strategic concepts to ensure that the creative approach aligns with the brand and goal(s) of the campaign.
  • Collaborate with creative leadership to execute copy concepts for marketing needs across multiple channels and platforms, providing alts and test options as needed.
  • Keep up with industry creative trends,  and work with key stakeholders to define channel-specific best practices and copy standards when needed. 

About you

  • You’re a copywriter with 3+ years of experience at a brand/agency, with a book of work centered around digital advertising and brand experiences. 
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Outstanding conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong grasp of the creative development process.
  • Expertise in developing creative solutions in a variety of campaigns across a broad range of problems and media, including advertising, print, interactive, web, email, and social
  • Ability to guide, evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development.
  • Communicate effectively with creative, marketing, and project management
  • Experience leading projects from concept to execution.
